Standards and testing: Meeting standards in filter media

In this article, Anthony Bennett summarises the complexity and variation involved in defining standards for and testing of filtration systems by initially focusing on two major industrial applications: heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and potable water treatment systems. He reviews both markets and concludes by identifying the challenges that are likely to drive new standards in the medium term.
