Biocontainment: filtration both ways

High technology filtration is often used to provide a suitable environment in complex laboratory scenarios. Cleanrooms, for example, use filtration to protect products inside the facility, and biocontainment premises use filtration to protect the users inside – and the environment outside – of the laboratory.
