Aerosol chemical properties and related pollutants measured in Dongsha Island in the northern South China Sea during 7-SEAS/Dongsha Experiment

► This study provides aerosol information in the northern South China Sea. ► The yellow-dust transport from the Asian Continent was observed. ► Ground PM2.5 level was about 7 μg m−3 in the pristine West Pacific.
