Volatile organic compounds in Tijuana during the Cal-Mex 2010 campaign: Measurements and source apportionment

► Major VOCs at the San Diego-Tijuana border area included OVOCs and aromatics. ►VOCs were attributed to solvent usage, gas/diesel vehicle exhausts, and aged plume. ► Diesel vehicle emission contributed to 87% of SO2 and 75% of NOx. ► Aged plumes were associated with NW wind from air masses of the San Diego area.
