Modeling the air-soil transport pathway of perfluorooctanoic acid in the mid-Ohio Valley using linked air dispersion and vadose zone models

► We link air models with a soil model to understand an air-soil transport pathway. ► Predicted PFOA soil concentrations were compared to observed concentrations. ► The simulated values were positively correlated with observed values. ► ISCST3 predicts surface soil concentration better than AERMOD with Parkersburg data.
