Carbon dioxide stripping from diethanolamine solution through porous surface modified PVDF hollow fiber membrane contactor

► Surface modified PVDF HFMs were used for CO2 desorption from DEA solutions. ► The CO2 stripping flux and efficiency increased by increasing liquid flow rate. ► The stripping flux of CO2 increased by increasing rich solution temperature. ► The CO2 desorption flux increased significantly by DEA concentration enhancement. ► The gas velocity showed a minor effect on the CO2 desorption flux.
