High-resolution late-glacial chronology for the Gerzensee lake record (Switzerland): δ18O correlation between a Gerzensee-stack and NGRIP

► A new high-resolution bulk δ18O from Lake Gerzensee, Switzerland was established. ► A unique stack from 4 individual δ18O record covers the Bølling/Allerød period. ► δ18O stack highlights common occurrence of 4 short-term cold oscillations during GI-1. ► An high-resolution age model was build through matching to the NGRIP δ18O record. ► Forms the base to study sedimentological and biological responses at Gerzensee.
