Chronology of the terrestrial Upper Cretaceous in the Songliao Basin, northeast Asia

► We paleomagnetically examine a continental sedimentary sequence from NE Asia. ► This provides a firm chronology for the terrestrial Upper Cretaceous in NE Asia. ► This allows precise correlation of the terrestrial Upper Cretaceous to marine strata. ► The K-Pg boundary is determined in the upper part of the Mingshui Formation.
