Modeling East Asian climate and impacts of atmospheric CO2 concentration during the Late Cretaceous (66Â Ma)

► We simulate East Asian climate in the Late Cretaceous. ► We study impacts of atmospheric CO2 concentration. ► East Asian winter and summer monsoons showed a synchronous variation. ► A reduced CO2 concentration weakens the Late Cretaceous East Asian monsoons.
