Polyvinyl alcohol nanofiber reinforced Nafion membranes for fuel cell applications

► Nafion® membranes reinforced with PVA nanofibers have been prepared. ► Proton conductivity was found to be thickness dependent. ► The membranes with nanofibers showed a high performance with a low amount of Nafion®.
