Grafting of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylic acid) on micro-porous polycarbonate films: Regulating lower critical solution temperatures for drug controlled release

► Thermo-response hydrogels are grafted onto micro-porous polycarbonate support. ► Higher acrylic acid content in hydrogel increases lower critical solution temperature. ► Higher acrylic acid concentration enhances grafting yield. ► Drug permeabilities and on-off ratios through grafted gels on the support are determined.
