Preparation of zeolite MFI membranes on alumina hollow fibers with high flux for pervaporation

► Zeolite MFI membranes were successfully prepared on alumina hollow fibers. ► Appropriate template content was obtained for preparation of MFI membranes. ► Appropriate seed concentration was obtained for preparation of MFI membranes. ► The highest flux (5.4 kg/(m2 h)) for ethanol/water separation was obtained.
