Postharvest biocontrol of Monilinia laxa, Monilinia fructicola and Monilinia fructigena on stone fruit by two Aureobasidium pullulans strains

► The antagonistic effect of two yeasts was tested in the same experiment against M. laxa, M. fructicola and M. fructigena. ► The two antagonists were identified by molecular and morphological tools as Aureobasidium pullulans. ► The washed cells of antagonists completely inhibited M. laxa and fructicola rots and reduced M. fructigena infections. ► Low temperature did not influence antagonist efficacy, M. laxa and M. fructicola were completely inhibited by antagonists.
