Highly efficient in vitro regeneration of the industrial oilseed crop Crambe abyssinica

▶ Nitrogen source in the culture medium is crucial for Crambe regeneration. ▶ Lepiovre basal medium is more efficient than MS for shoot regeneration. ▶ TDZ is more efficient than other types of cytokinin for shoot regeneration. ▶ Combination of glucose, Lepiovre basal medium, TDZ and light results in over 95% of regeneration frequency from hypocotyls.
