Multiple anisotropic collisions for advection-diffusion Lattice Boltzmann schemes

► Anisotropic advection-diffusion TRT/MRT/L Lattice Boltzmann schemes are extended. ► Anisotropic relaxation rates and/or anisotropic equilibrium are analyzed for stability. ► Available anisotropy range is examined for minimal and full velocity stencils. ► Numerical diffusion is canceled for all approaches except the L-model. ► The TRT model with isotropic rates often gains in effective stability and accuracy.
