Identifying potential Greenland halibut spawning areas and nursery grounds off East and South-western Greenland and its management implications

►Spawning of Greenland halibut was found to occur in August. ►Ca. 10% of the matured females were spawning. ►Young Greenland halibut were found in the fjords of East Greenland. ►The Tasilaq area may be part of a nursery area for West Nordic Greenland halibut. ►The importance of the Tasilaq nursery area to the stock is currently unknown.
