Comparisons of liver proteomes in the European flounder Platichthys flesus from three contrasted estuaries

► We studied the proteomic signatures of three estuaries in Platichthys flesus liver. ► 27 proteins revealed overrepresented in fishes from at least one estuary. ► 6 proteins were identified by MALDI TOF-TOF mass spectrometry. ► glutathione- and energetic- metabolisms should be increased in polluted estuaries. ► Results suggest oogenesis deregulation in flounders from the Seine estuary.
