Purification and characterization of angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitory peptides from jellyfish Rhopilema esculentum

► Two ACE inhibitory peptides were isolated from Rhopilema esculentum hydrolysates. ► The amino acid sequence of the peptides was identified as QPGPT and GDIGY. ► The purified peptides caused significant decrease of SBP and DBP in SHRs.
