Assessment of aquifer vulnerability to industrial waste water using resistivity measurements. A case study, along El-Gharbyia main drain, Nile Delta, Egypt

► We apply resistivity measurements to assess the aquifer vulnerability to waste water in the north of Nile Delta. ► The obtained vulnerable zones are related to sand lenses in the protective clay cap. ► These vulnerable zones are highly effected by nitrate and trace elements from surface wastewater.
