New remains of Priohybodus arambourgi (Hybodontiformes: Hybodontidae) from Late Jurassic-?earliest Cretaceous deposits in Uruguay

► We describe new multicuspid, laterally compressed, and serrated tooth crowns of the hybodontid Priohybodus arambourgi. ► We provide measurements and new information on morphological variation of the crowns from Uruguay. ► We compare them with P. arambourgi tooth crowns from Africa. ► We describe a striking pathological tooth crown of P. arambourgi. ► We review the paleobiogeographic distribution of hybodonts with cutting dentition.
