The youngest species of Polysternon: A new bothremydid turtle from the uppermost Maastrichtian of the southern Pyrenees

► We describe a new Polysternon turtle species based on post cranial material. ► Freshwater habits are confirmed according to taphonomic and sedimentologic data. ► Up to now it is the most recent species of Polysternon known.
