Palaeoenvironmental information from the palynology of an 800 year old bat guano deposit from Măgurici Cave, NW Transylvania (Romania)

► This is the first palynological study of a radiocarbon dated guano deposit in Romania ► Results are consistent with the known vegetation history during the Late Subatlantic ► Two climate events are reflected: the Medieval Climate Anomaly and the Little Ice Age ► Human impact is mainly related to deforestation, grazing and agriculture.
