Characterization of pellets from industrial tomato residues

► The main qualities of pellets from industrial tomato residues are examined. ► The correlation of the magnitudes of hardness and durability with the values of moisture content of raw material used are presented. ► The energy density (8-9 GJ/m3) is similar to other biomass pellets with higher bulk density.
