Substituted ferrite MxFe1 − xFe2O4 (M = Mn, Zn) catalysts for N2O catalytic decomposition processes

► Significant improvement on the N2O catalytic decomposition. ► Partial substituted ferrite presents high active sites. ► N2O decomposition temperatures increase after O2 addition. ► The N2O conversion shifted to higher temperature at higher space velocity.
