(α-Fe2O3)-MCM-41 as a magnetically recoverable nanocatalyst for the synthesis of pyrazolo[4,3-c]pyridines at room temperature

► (α-Fe2O3)-MCM-41 showed excellent efficiency for this reaction. ► The catalyst recovered by simple magnetic filtration without any loss of activity. ► This catalyst exhibited better activities to other mesoporous catalysts.
