Steam- and autothermal-reforming of n-butanol over Rh/ZrO2 catalyst

- We study steam reforming and autothermal reforming of butanol over Rh/ZrO2 catalyst.
- Reaction network includes reactions proceeding in gas phase, on ZrO2 and on Rh.
- High temperature and oxygen addition improved stability of the catalyst.
- Catalyst deactivation was caused by carbon deposition on or near metal particles.
