Biosynthesis of copper nanoparticles supported on manganese dioxide nanoparticles using Centella asiatica L. leaf extract for the efficient catalytic reduction of organic dyes and nitroarenes

A Cu/MnO2 nanocomposite was prepared through reduction of Cu2+ ions to Cu NPs using Centella asiatica L. leaf extract and applied to the reduction of organic dyes and nitro compounds in aqueous media.
