Promoting effects of Fe2O3 to Pt electrocatalysts toward methanol oxidation reaction in alkaline electrolyte

The presence of Fe2O3 can promote the kinetic processes of MOR on Pt, and the promoting effect is related to the morphology of Fe2O3 promoter. The Fe2O3 nanorods show higher promoting effects than Fe2O3 nanoplates.
