Selective reduction of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide over Au/CeO2 catalyst and identification of reaction intermediate

We showed that Au contributes significantly to the high activity of an Au/CeO2 catalyst in CO2 conversion. Conversions approaching the thermodynamic equilibrium values were achieved at temperatures above 400 °C.
