Motivations for implementing voluntary environmental actions in Argentine forest companies

- We define 27 voluntary environmental actions and analyzed 13 motivations that support them.
- Actions followed a four driver model with five motivational mechanisms.
- Market pressure and company image are major motivations.
- Legal and moral motivational categories are more valued than financial gains.
