Determination of the packing fraction of silica nanoparticles from the rheological and viscoelastic measurements of nanofluids

► Rheological and viscoelastic behaviour of silica nanofluids was measured. ► Packing fraction of nanoparticles was obtained from the rheological measurements. ► Equations similar to the Quemada one were proposed to fit the moduli data. ► Same packing fraction was obtained from all the properties measured.
