Organic geochemistry and depositional environments of Eocene coals in northern Anatolia, Turkey

An Unresolved Complex Mixture (UCM) observed in the gas chromatograms display immature organic matter and biodegradation. The Tmax, mean reflectance and biomarker maturity data show that coal samples are thermally immature.
