Experimental study on the performance of recooling cycle of hydrocarbon fueled scramjet engine

► A principle experimental system of recooling cycle is established. ► Fuel heat sink release is restricted by allowable material temperature of tube. ► Recooling cycle can provide a further chance for continued use of heat sink. ► Total fuel heat sink can be increased to 0.7 MJ/kg by recooling. ► Recooling cycle can also improve “olefin/paraffin ratio” of cracking reaction.
