NOx control in coal combustion by combining biomass co-firing, oxygen enrichment and SNCR

► NOx emission and its control, from pulverized coal combustion was investigated in a 20 kW combustor. ► Techniques of co-firing with biomass combined with SNCR were studied over a range of conditions. ► Tests were also performed under oxygen enriched conditions, including oxygen enriched air-staging.
