Filtration of dust particulates using a new filter system with louvers and sublouvers

► A louver-sublouver moving granular bed filter was designed and tested. ► A trommel screen system was successfully integrated into the filtration system. ► Collection weight of trommel system has influence on the filtration efficiency. ► Filtration efficiency could be promoted by optimum operation parameters.
