Thermal studies of new biodiesel antioxidants synthesized from a natural occurring phenolic lipid

► We synthesized and fully characterized three new antioxidants for biodiesel from a replenishable phenol, cardanol. ► Cardanol can be considered an attractive precursor in order to develop new products from renewable bio-sources. ► The antioxidants evaluated enhanced the thermo-oxidative stability of the biodiesel samples in all concentrations applied.
