Sterilization of PMMA microfluidic chips by various techniques and investigation of material characteristics

- The PMMA microchips were fabricated using injection molding process.
- The microchips were sterilized using supercritical CO2 at 120 bar, 40  C and 60 min.
- UV, heat and chemical sterilization techniques were applied as well.
- Complete sterility was achieved.
- Each technique has its own strengths and weaknesses.
