The effect of [bmim][Br] on the solubility of carbon dioxide and methane in glycols at pressures up to 14Â MPa and temperatures ranging from 303 to 423Â K

- Influence of [bmim][Br] on the solubility of carbon dioxide and methane in glycol was measured for pressures up to 14 MPa and temperatures up to 423 K.
- Solubility data are generated by the total pressure method.
- Henry's law constants are presented.
- [bmim][Br] (0.1 mol kg−1) leads to a salting-in effect.
