Sequential extraction of bioactive compounds from Melia azedarach L. in fixed bed extractor using CO2, ethanol and water

- Sequential extraction was carried out in four steps using scCO2, scCO2/ethanol mixture, ethanol and ethanol/water mixture.
- The 1st step extract with scCO2 showed inhibition against HSV-1 Virus.
- The 2nd step extract showed ability to reduce the surface tension and inhibition against HSV-1 Virus.
