Significant reinforcement of poly(propylene carbonate): Nanostructured polymer composites of poly(propylene carbonate)/poly(methyl methacrylate) via a supercritical carbon dioxide route

- PMMA was dispersed on a nanometer scale (50-200 nm) in the PPC substrate.
- The yield strength of PPC sharply increased 4 times by incorporating 5 wt% PMMA.
- This study introduced an effective modification method of biodegradable PPC.
