Binderless fluidized bed granulation of a type C hygroscopic pharmaceutical powder with prior humidification treatment

► This paper presents a binder-free fluidized bed granulation for a fine pharmaceutical powder. ► A humidification method was adopted to transform the Geldart Type C powder to Type A. ► The poor fluidizing property was overcome by particle size enlargement.
