Capture of phosphates in surface water by TiO2 nanoparticles under UV irradiation

- Capture of phosphates from surface water by TiO2 nanoparticles under UV irradiation was studied.
- At 0.1 g/L loading of TiO2 and 36 mW/cm2 UV intensity, 95% capture was achieved within 10 min.
- pH values in the range of 2-10.5 have little effect on the capture of total phosphorus.
