Study of the heat-induced denaturation and water state of hybrid hydrogels based on collagen and poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) in hydrated conditions

- Denaturation temperature and water state of hybrid hydrogels were determined by DSC.
- Denaturation temperature is irreversible process.
- Hydrogels kept responsiveness no matter their crosslinking degree and hydrated state.
- Relationship between water state-swelling degree and contact angle was established.
