Incidence of chirality on the properties of mixtures containing an amide type anesthetic compound

► Two binary phase diagrams between lidocaine and d-or dl-camphor are established. ► Both systems exhibit similar thermal behavior. ► Both systems present eutectic mixtures which are liquid at room temperature. ► These binary systems could be used to form emulsions for local anesthetics.
