Synthesis and thermal decomposition of [Bi6O6(OH)2](NH2C6H4SO3)4

► A new complex [Bi6O6(OH)2](NH2C6H4SO3)4 is prepared. ► Thermal decomposition (20-950 °C) of the complex is studied by DTA-TG and DSC analyses. ► The composition of solid phases is investigated by FTIR and XRD.
