Wide area measurement based protection support during power swing

The proposed method aims at supporting conventional relay decision during power swing using PMU data. The severity classifier block takes decision regarding the blocking of zone 2 and zone 3 relays in an area and the out-of-step classifier assesses whether an area is prone to losing its stability.
