On the coordinated control of multiple HVDC links using input-output exact linearization in large power systems

► We develop a new nonlinear control strategy coordinating multiple HVDC links. ► It relies on exact feedback linearization control based on Lie derivatives. ► We extend the internal node representation by including the HVDC links dynamics. ► The strategy improves the stability and enables to securely transfer more power.
