Closed-loop identification using direct approach and high order ARX/GOBF-ARX models

► We propose a method for identification using closed-loop data obtained from short perturbation experiments. ► The proposed method is based on parsimonious parameterization of ARX models using generalized orthonormal basis filters. ► We demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method via closed-loop simulations. ► We also present results of the application of the proposed method for the identifcation of an experimental setup controlled using MPC.
