Various characteristics of multi-modified rice husk silica-anchored Ni or Pt nanoparticles as swift catalytic systems in some petrochemical processes

Ni nanoparticles (3-5 nm) in highly active F-SG-Ni and F-CTAB-MS-Ni systems for ethanol dehydrogenation were uniformly embedded in protective functionalized monolayer. Pt nanoparticles (20-80 nm) in least active F-SG-Pt system were aggregated during attachment to pendant amine groups.
