Alcohol selectivity and measurement of ethanol concentrations in liquors using Teflon® AF2400-coated gold-deposited surface plasmon resonance-based glass rod sensor

- A Teflon AF2400-coated gold-deposited SPR-based glass rod sensor was developed.
- Sensitivity enhancement when using the PEG layer was confirmed.
- The alcohol selectivity of the sensor was evaluated with various alcoholic beverages.
- The Teflon-coated sensor maintains both sensitivity and selectivity for 6 months.
